Nvision’s experience in the development industry allows us to methodically analyze construction budgets and identify budgetary misses. Ian McCook
Managing Partner, Nied Capital
President, Nvision Development
Ian has over 30 years of experience in the development industry and has overseen the development of close to $2 billion in projects in Canada, China and the United States. Prior to founding Nvision in 2006, he was the Director of Development with Intrawest Placemaking for 10 years. He is a graduate of the Harvard University Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate, has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Civil Engineering, from the University of British Columbia and is a Licensed Commercial Real Estate Broker and a Certified General Contractor. He is also a member of Vistage Florida.
Teri McCook
Chief Financial Officer
Teri serves Nvision Development, Nvision Construction and Nvision Real Estate with respect to client billing, accounting, insurance, cash-flow management, financial reporting, human resources and banking. Prior to joining Nvision, she was Director of Accounting for a large private insurance brokerage company overseeing a team of 40. Teri graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned her CPA shortly after.
Chuck Bell
Director of Pre-Development
Chuck leads and manages to company’s new land acquisitions and pre-development activities including due diligence, conceptual design & master planning, development programming, schedules, budgets, and project proformas through the schematic design phase. His career spans 30 years of planning and designing award-winning branded hospitality, mixed-use, and residential development projects in 22 countries valued at more than $100 billion. Chuck also served as Director of Development for two mixed-use resort & attraction projects valued at over $1.5 billion.
Austin Bustamante
Development Manager
Austin currently manages a variety of projects including Arya, Summerhouse Apartments in Apopka, and the Lake Nona AFL project. Prior to joining Nvision, Austin worked as a project manager for Lockheed Martin, as well as a regional commercial development firm based in Orlando. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.
Brittany Eveler
Development Manager
Brittany leads all aspects of the project life cycle including design, finance, construction, and project turnover. She is currently responsible for managing over $150 million of multi-family, student housing, and retail buildings spread throughout the development stages. Before joining Nvision, Brittany worked on themed entertainment and hospitality projects for BRE Hotels & Resorts and Patina Restaurant Group. She graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor’s in Business Management & Economics and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University.
Renese Johnson
Development Manager
Renese currently oversees a mix of multifamily, senior living, and retail projects both within Nvision’s development and construction division. Her work spans across Central Florida with capital budgets ranging from $1 to $50 million. Prior to work at Nvision, Renese spent 15 years serving as a project manager and senior advisor on a diverse portfolio of assets situated across the globe. She holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, as well as her Project Management Certification (PMP).
Kurt Kotzin
Construction Manager
Kurt provides the Nvision Development team with over 40 years’ experience as an Owner’s Representative on Central Florida’s most notable projects. Prior to joining the Nvision Development team, Kurt held significant leadership and project management roles on theme park projects, high rise luxury hotels and resort condominium developments, public assembly facilities, as well as serving as the Contracts Manager for the Orange County Public School System Program Management Team.
Following graduation from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Kurt earned and maintains his registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in Florida and California.
Daniel Wiggins
Development Coordinator
Daniel currently supports managers and directors with coordinating the development of student housing, assisted living, and multifamily developments. Commencing his professional career with Nvision, the extent of Daniel’s development experience came from his participation in the Central Florida chapter NAIOP Case Competition where his group proposed a mixed-use, single & multi-family, and commercial development in the Lake Nona area. Daniel graduated from the University of Central Florida’s Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate with a BSBA in Real Estate.
Skylar Kidwell
Development Coordinator
Skylar is currently working with Development Manager, Renese Johnson, assisting with multi-family, assisted living and memory care projects valuing over $200 million upon stabilization. In less than a year, she has had the ability to learn almost every phase of development while working on Summer House at Lake Apopka, Serenity at Lake Wales, Hearthstone at Lake Nona, and Hearthstone at Wildwood. Prior to Nvision, she was a student at University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.
